Countryview was founded in 1980 to serve Auburn, Girard, Virden, IL and surrounding communities. We are a non-denominational, restoration movement, biblical church proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and declareing our loyalty to him only.
At Countryview membership is held by:
- Faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior (Acts 16:31)
- Repentence from sin (Luke 24:46-48)
- Confession of Christ as Lord ( Romans 10:9-10)
- Baptism by immersion for the forgiveness of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)
- Growth in Christ towards Christian maturity (Eph 4:13-32, Col 3:1-17)
